Birth & Death Certificates
BIRTH RECORD CHANGES: As of December 21, 2010, the Washington County Health Department can access birth records for all births occurring in the state of Ohio from 1908 to the present.
The Vital Statistics Office has Death Records from 1908 to the Present for Births or Deaths that occurred “OUTSIDE” the Marietta City Limits.
Certificates are filed according to the place of occurrence, not according to residence.

Hospital Death records as well as occurrences “WITHIN” the Marietta City limits can be requested through www.uscerts.com.
Certificates Prior to 1908
For Deaths prior to 1908, we have an index of what is on file with Probate Court. |
